If Moving In Is Not the Right Step
For families caring for a loved one at home, our Senior Day Care Centre provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment during the day, while giving family caregivers valuable time to work, attend to other responsibilities or simply take a well-earned break.
Day visitors enjoy the same activities, freshly prepared meals and professional care as our residents, with nursing staff available throughout the day. Attendance can be arranged from one day a week through to every weekday.
Our Senior Day Care Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm and, for many families, provides the additional support they need to continue caring for their loved one at home.
Day Care can also provide a gentle introduction to Home Angels. If residential care becomes necessary in the future, your loved one will already be familiar with the surroundings, our staff and the daily routine, making the transition into the Home a little easier.

Where is it?
17 Shortlands Avenue, Hillcrest. The entrance is on Northern Avenue, near Hillcrest High.
What days and hours?
Senior Day care runs on a Wednesday & Friday from 08:30 to 13:30.
Is transport available?
We do not currently provide transport. Families are responsible for arranging transport to and from Home Angels.
Come and See It
Bring your parent if that helps, or come on your own first, plenty of families prefer to look around before they mention it at home. Either is fine, and there is no charge.
