My friend recommended Home Angels when my husband got so extremely ill. In the beginning I was apprehensive, but eventually I could not do it on my own anymore. Mel brought the carer, Princess, to meet me one morning, and immediately I felt that I had made the right decision. My husband was extremely happy with her, she was so caring, and the way she used to chat to him made me very happy. Right up to the end, Princess was at his side. Nothing was too much for her. I have two elderly parents who have chosen to stay in their own home rather than a care home. Both of them need 24-hour care. Mel has brought amazing carers to assist my parents both day and night with excellent kindness and care, and she goes the extra mile and sends daily reports on their progress. I have had quite a few previous negative experiences with carers and I am very grateful to have found Home Angels.
My mother-in-law fell and fractured her pelvis, 89 years old. We needed a carer at very short notice and you arranged one very quickly, and arranged the assessment. Nosipho comes every day and baths her, helps her with exercises, talks to her, and is really very caring. We are very grateful for Home Angels because you truly are angels, I would not be able to cope with all of this at the moment without Nosipho.
My husband was diagnosed with cancer, and as I couldn't cope on my own, I engaged the services of Home Angels. Three ladies, Cebo, Maureen and Khanye, helped me to care for my beloved husband for 16 months. During this time these ladies became like family to me. They performed their duties diligently and nothing was too much trouble for them. I could never have coped without them.
My husband, who has Parkinson's disease, fell and injured himself and needed help with day-to-day activities during his recovery. A friend recommended Home Angels and at very short notice Mel organised a carer for him. We have had wonderful service from Mel and his carer throughout. I would recommend Home Angels to anybody requiring the assistance of a carer.
In March my dad needed someone to help with taking care of him and we were recommended Home Angels. We have had the most wonderful service from Mel and Layla, the carer assigned to take care of my dad. Mel was friendly and always available for assistance when required, and she would always pop in and see how my dad was doing.
Just wanted to say thank you to Home Angels for the support and care we received in the very difficult last weeks of our beloved sister's life. In that time of deep sadness it was so helpful to have professional nursing care and advice whenever we needed it, even after hours. Thank you for providing such a necessary service.
